About Achasta

Achasta is a gated mountain community situated along the Chestatee River in the North Georgia foothills, approximately 65 miles north of Atlanta. The name Achasta is derived from a Cherokee word meaning “river of running lights” — a fitting tribute to the Chestatee River that winds through the property.

At the heart of the community is an exceptional array of resort-quality amenities:
